It's hard to be happy when I feel lost. When I'm unsure of my choice or am not sure which way to go. When I believe I'm stuck.
It's usually because I'm too focused on the destination. I have to remind myself that I'm always going to find something valuable, even in the wrong direction. And that failures and missteps will serve me as long as I learn from them. The goal serves us to move us forward but the journey is by far the more precious gift.
I can be happy confidently heading in the right direction. I can be happy heading in the wrong direction as long I'm confident I can redirect. And now I can even be happy in the unknown because I'm confident in my ability to find a way through and in the abundance of treasures to find along the way.
