Impatience At the Root

I'm reminding myself that it's a mess at first. If it's something small, it might take hours, days, or weeks to get the hang of it. But bigger things take more time. The only path to the other side is through the dip, so buckle up and hang on for the ride (or get off if it's not worth it).

I'm also reminding myself to be careful biting off more than I can chew. Just because a few plates are finally spinning doesn't mean it's time to toss up a few more. Yes, they'll all come crashing down.

In both cases, impatience is at the root of my follies. Good things take time, and the time will come.
