I think consistency is the most important tool to have in you basket. It's tempting to look for shortcuts but doing the right things daily is a much better bet.
Consistency requires confidence in your own judgement. To stay the course no matter how hard and loud the voices around you scream.
It requires discipline and the sensibility to overcome the pressures of the present to do what's right for the future.
But most of all, consistency requires a deep understanding of what drives you. Because if you don't know who you are, what you value, where you want to be, then it will be impossible to discover things worth being consistent about in the first place.
